How the Call of Duty: Mobile Classes Work – The Ninja

When it comes to the game’s Battle Royale mode, the newly-released Call of Duty: Mobile gives players a variety of different class choices. From the dependable Defender to the Zombie-manipulating Clown, the roster of Call of Duty: Mobile classes offers plenty of options. The Ninja, for example, gives players a class which heavily emphasises both stealth and mobility, making it perfect for solo play.

The Call of Duty: Mobile Classes – The Ninja (Abilities)

Every one of the six Call of Duty: Mobile classes possesses two different abilities. One of these is a passive ability which provides a permanent bonus or effect. The other is something which players activate manually. For the Ninja, their first ability is Dead Silence. Where the Defender reduces damage taken from explosives and the Medic can revive teammates faster, the Ninja’s Dead Silence skill offers a benefit related to stealth; the skill reduces the sound of the Ninja’s footsteps, making it harder for players to hear them approaching.

The Ninja’s second skill is Grappling Hook, which allows the Ninja to move in ways that no other class can. “There is no wrong way to use this hook so long as it is away from your current location,” explains Activision; “In a pinch and need to get to high ground? Use it on a building or rock face and mantle up to what could be a safer space. How about getting away from the collapse? At maximum distance, fire it at a tree, rock, or even the ground towards the direction of safety.”

The Ninja’s strengths lie in mobility, as the class can approach enemies from unexpected directions. Plus, they can move rapidly away from danger, be it the collapse or other players. As such, the class is ideally suited for solo play. However, it can also be useful in a squad when serving a flanking role. For example, a team’s Defender and other members could draw an enemy squad’s attention, allowing the Ninja to get around behind them for a surprise attack.
