It is awesome that Battlefield 2042 supports crossplay. But sometimes, the feature can sometimes produce errors. In fact, players are reporting that if you are getting error code 2002g, it could have something to do with crossplay. Turning it off could be the solution you need.
Here is How to Disable Crossplay in Battlefield 2042
You can turn crossplay off in Battlefield 2042 pretty easily, as it turns out. That is even true if it is greyed out. Here is how to do it. Begin by choosing “Options.” From there, proceed to “General.” There, you should see the option to toggle crossplay on or off. Turn the setting to “Off.”
What if you are unable to toggle the option? Check to the right, where you will see a disclaimer stating that in party, once you have joined a server, or while matchmaking, it is not possible to disable the feature. If any of those things are applicable, you have to do something about them. Get out of matchmaking, get off of any server you are on, and make sure you are not in a party. Keep in mind that the party could be empty of all other members and still stop you from turning off crossplay so long as you are in it.
Take care of these issues, check the menu again, and see if the toggle now works. Switch it off, and see if you have disabled crossplay in Battlefield 2042.
