Epic Games has released several free cosmetic items to Fortnite recently. Thanks to the Fortnitemares event, players could earn most of these cosmetic items for free. However, they can now earn a new free Fortnite skin which is exclusive and looks really amazing!
Similar to Fortnitemares, players will have to play the game to earn the skin. However, the key difference is that the skin cannot be earned by completing challenges. Instead, players will have to test their skills in competitive mode and try to rank high to unlock it. Earning the new free skin is going to be hard, but it’s definitely worth it!
Earn a free Fortnite skin on November 16 and 17
The new free Fortnite skin will be obtainable by players on November 16 and 17, depending on the region. To earn the Victor Elite skin, players will have to compete in FNCS Grand Royale Community Cup. This cup starts on November 16 in NA-East, NA-West, and Brazil regions, while its starting date is November 17 in Europe, Asia, Middle East, and Oceania. If you want to compete, you will have to check the in-game compete tab for the exact start time.
The community cup has almost the same rules as most of the other cups. Players will have 10 matches to play and try to earn as many points as possible. After the cup is over, top teams from every region will receive the exclusive outfit along with the Victory Crest back bling.
Keep in mind, the cup will be done in the Trios mode. This means you will have to have two teammates in order to compete as competitive modes require a full team. Furthermore, all players need to be at least level 30 and have two-factor authentication enabled on their accounts.
Another free skin to earn
Besides the exclusive Victor Elite skin, Fortnite players can win the Rainbow Racer skin for free. The only way to obtain this skin is through Refer a Friend program. More specifically, players will have to refer one of their friends to the game. After that, both players will have to level up 60 times to get the skin.
The promotion ends in early January 2022, which means that players have two more months to get the free Fortnite skin.
