How to Earn Madden 19 Legends Lorenzo Neal, Darrell Green in Ultimate Team Mode
On Saturday, several brand new Madden 19 Legends cards arrived in Ultimate Team mode. Gamers learned that the newest legends cards to drop are for Chargers halfback Lorenzo Neal and Redskins defensive star Darrell Green. Madden Ultimate Team owners who want to acquire these players for their lineups are in luck. While they won’t be able to get the full 99 OVR versions, it’s possible to earn cards for each player. Here’s how to earn Madden 19 Legends Lorenzo Neal and Darrell Green in the game.
Madden 19 Legends cards for Green, Neal
The two cards revealed on Saturday are both 99 overall Power Up cards as part of the Ultimate Legends series. First up is Lorenzo Neal. The 5-foot-11 fullback was a star on the San Diego Chargers amongst other teams during his 15-year NFL career. Neal racked up 18 touchdowns and nearly 1,900 yards between his rushing and receiving. On the defensive side of the field comes a 99 OVR Power Up card for Redskins cornerback Darrell Green. In terms of height, he’s lacking there, so many MUT fans are quickly criticizing the card for that. However, he’s got a 99 Speed, 98 Acceleration, 98 Man Coverage, and 97 Agility amongst Key Attributes. During his nearly 20 year career in Washington, he totaled 43 interceptions and 10 fumble recoveries as well as 1,201 combined tackles. He also had eight touchdowns between those INTs and fumbles.
How to get Lorenzo Neal, Darrell Green cards in game
The new Madden 19 Legends cards are available through the purchase of Madden Ultimate Legends packs or bundles. In addition, there are gamers selling these cards over at the Auction House, but it will involve spending a bit of in-game currency.
There are also a few limited-time Madden challenges to play for the next week. In the first challenge, gamers can earn a Lorenzo Neal card along with 3,000 Coins. Once that challenge is completed, gamers can move on to tackle the Darrell Green challenge. The reward there is the Green player card along with 3,000 Coins. A third and final challenge is unlocked after that. Winning against a tough Ultimate Legends team results in 3,000 Coins and a UL Reward Pack.
For the Lorenzo Neal challenge, you’ll take on the Chargers (88 OVR) team with your Madden Ultimate Team. For the Darrell Green challenge, you’re up against an 89 OVR Redskins team. These legends players are both on their respective teams. Win the games and the prizes are yours. However, it won’t be easy!
It’s worth noting that as with every weekend, there was also a LTD card released for Madden Ultimate Legends. This week’s limited Legends player is a 99 OVR Michael Strahan, who is available in the Ultimate Legends packs through June 3.
