If you’ve been keeping up with all the latest news surrounding PUBG, you probably know all about the fact that the new upcoming map Codename: Savage has been given its final, official name. It’s going to go by the name of Sanhok, as revealed by PUBG Corp. recently in an official blog. That’s not all, though. It’s going to get another new round of testing. If you’ve been longing to try out the new mode and as such have been looking to give it a try as soon as it returns to test servers, now’s the time to do it as the map is returning for new players to get a turn with.
If you’re familiar with the last few testing rounds, however, you know that you had to go and sign up for beta access to be granted time to play with Codename: Savage. What’s going on this time around? How will you be able to cement some game time with Sanhok? We’ve got you covered.
How to Play Sanhok During the Newest Test Period
If you’re interested in trying out Codename: Savage since its new name change, the new test period is going to make things a lot easier than all the ones before it. The new testing round will be open to all players, with no beta signups required. PUBG Corp. explained this in its latest Steam blog, where it said that the team will be turning what was previously known as the Closed Experimental Server into the Experimental Server. It should be showing up in your Steam library automatically, as such.
There will still be a specific time period during which you’ll have to play it, however, so it’s not as if this is a free play time. Here are the windows during which you can jump online and play:
TESTING BEGINS:
May 10, 7pm PDT / FRI May 11, 4am CEST
TESTING ENDS:
May 14, 4am PDT / May 14, 1pm CEST
All you should have to do is ensure you own PUBG on PC via Steam and you should be granted access automatically. From there, make sure you’re available during the times above, and you’ll be able to try out Sanhok in all its officially-named glory. Let us know what you think!
