Confused about how to revive teammates in Battlefield 2042? You are not alone—a lot of players have questions about this across different game modes (that’s right—the steps involved vary depending on the mode). Let’s talk about how you can revive teammates in All-Out Warfare, Hazard Zone and Portal.
Here is How to Revive Teammates in Battlefield 2042
First of all, no matter the mode, you will know if you can revive a player by whether or not you see a circle above them showing a pulse monitor. You then need to get close enough to them to revive. The correct buttons are:
- PlayStation: Square
- Xbox: X
- PC: E
Now for the specifics.
- All-Out Warfare: Only Specialists Maria Falck and Constantin “Angel” Anghel are capable of reviving all players in this game mode. If you are not playing as one of these Specialists, you can revive your squadmates, but no one else.
- Hazard Zone: Downed players in this mode are not completely helpless; they can still crawl. That means that they may be able to get to a teammate to get revived. But if an enemy gets them first, they will be fully downed. Reviving them at this point is no longer possible. You may respawn, however, through a Reinforcement Uplink, should this happen to you.
- Battlefield Portal: You have to equip the Defibrillator to revive a teammate in Portal. If you have played older Battlefield games, you will be familiar with how this works.
Playing as Specialist Falck or Angel? Take note that they have different abilities. If Falck revives a player, they will return with full health, thanks to the Combat Surgeon Trait. As a Trauma Specialist, Angel brings a different advantage, which is bonus armor for revived players.
