Arthur Morgan is no Boy Scout, but following the Scouts’ motto makes life an awful lot easier in RDR2. Be prepared. When your horse is critically injured, you’ll need Horse Revive. You can find it at any General Store in the game. But, if you don’t have it in your satchel at the moment your horse goes down, unfortunately, you’re out of luck.

If you do have it handy, reviving your horse is simple. Stand by your horse and you’ll notice two options are available. On the one hand, if you don’t have Horse Revive, you can put your horse out of their misery. Select, Kill and Arthur will knife his trusted steed.

The other option, Revive, will appear at the same time. Select this option, and Arthur will give his horse the tonic.
