How to Unlock Create a Class and New Weapons in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Beta
We are going to show you how to unlock Create a Class and new weapons in the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 multiplayer beta. This private beta is going on right now for only players who pre-ordered the game and were given a code for the beta. It’s also only currently available on PS4 with the Xbox One and PC versions to go live next weekend alongside a second beta weekend for PS4.
In it, you are given access to a good amount of the multiplayer including all 10 Specialists, many of the new maps, modes, and more. You are also given access to Create a Class but you can’t actually access it upon jumping into the lobby for the very first time. This can be extremely frustrating at first since you are stuck with the same weapons. This is alleviated a bit with the option to choose between Specialists but that only goes so far.
How to Unlock Create a Class and New Weapons
If you’re frustrated with the weapon that you are using currently, you aren’t alone as every player is in the same boat until later on. It’s actually pretty simple how to unlock Create a Class. The option is locked out until you reach level five in the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 multiplayer beta.
This can, unfortunately, take a bit. For us, it was around five or six matches before we reached it or around an hour and a half of total gameplay. Once you’ve reached level five in the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 multiplayer beta, you can finally select the Create a Class option. This is your typical Pick 10 but improved. You will be able to select between weapons, perks, abilities, and so on.
There are several different weapon options you can choose between from SMG’s to Assault Rifles to Sniper and so forth. But what do you do in the meantime while you wait to reach level five? If you don’t like the provided gun, pick up guns from fallen foes or teammates and try them out. You can also pick Specialists like Prophet who have a special gun for their ultimate ability.
