Total War: Warhammer 2 Sale Discounts and More

This weekend’s Warhammer Steam sale is live now, and will be available until the 21st of October. It includes all of the Steam games from the Warhammer brand, including Battlefleet Gothic Armada, Vermintide 2, and many more. Of course, this also includes Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer series. Both the first and second game are currently discounted in the sale; Total War: Warhammer is 75% off, while Total War: Warhammer 2 is 66% off. This means that you can get both games for less than the normal price of either one of them!

Many of the DLC packs released for the two games are also on sale. Both of the second game’s Race Packs, for instance, Rise of the Tomb Kings and Curse of the Vampire Coast, are 50% off. Meanwhile, Lord Packs like The Prophet and The Warlock are 20% off or more. As the most recent release, The Hunter and The Beast isn’t included in the sale.

Total War Warhammer 2 Sale on Steam Weekend

If you’re unfamiliar with the Total War: Warhammer series, it’s worth noting that the first game is a worthwhile investment, even though the second game has been out for a while. This is because the second game’s Mortal Empires campaign mode allows you to play as any of the factions from either game. However, you can’t play as those from the first game (Dwarfs, Empire, Greenskins, and Vampire Counts, plus DLC factions) unless you have the first game. The second game includes the Dark Elves, High Elves, Lizardmen, and Skaven factions, plus those in DLC.
