Just a few days ago, Creative Assembly announced the next upcoming DLC for Total War: Warhammer II; Curse of the Vampire Coast. The DLC adds an entire new faction to the game, along with a host of new gameplay mechanics. Coinciding with the announcement is a major Total War: Warhammer sale on Steam, spanning the entire franchise.
This Weekend’s Total War: Warhammer Sale on Steam
The Total War: Warhammer sale will go live on Steam over the weekend, with major discounts coming across the series. Total War: Warhammer, for example, will see its price reduced by a massive 75%. Total War: Warhammer II, meanwhile, will see its price cut by 33%. This is definitely a great opportunity for gamers who haven’t got the game yet to pick it up before the release of Curse of the Vampire Coast. Of course, the sale discounts extend beyond the two games; all of the series’ DLC expansions are discounted too.

DLC for the original Total War: Warhammer will have their prices reduced by 33%. Meanwhile, the Rise of the Tomb Kings DLC and The Queen & The Crone DLC for Total War: Warhammer II will be reduced in price by 25%. The only DLCs unaffected by the sale are the two Blood for the Blood God packs, which only cost £1.99 each. Creative Assembly released one each for both games, adding more obvious gore to the combat in each title. Finally, the newly-announced Curse of the Vampire Coast DLC for Total War: Warhammer II will also be on sale. As it has only just been revealed, its discount isn’t as much as other expansions. However, its price is nevertheless reduced by 10%.
The full sale list on Steam can be found here. The Steam sale will only run until the end of this weekend; ending on the 7th of October.
