Dark Souls Remastered is set to arrive in just a few days on May 25, and if you fancy a return to some of the series’ later entries while you wait, the Humble Store is currently offering some sizeable discounts for both Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3.
The discounts take a whopping 75 percent off of each game’s full price, making them both a steal if you have yet to add either of them to your PC gaming library. First up, there’s Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin which has had its price reduced to $9.99. The definitive edition of Dark Souls 2 does more than merely bundle in the game’s core campaign and three DLC packs, it also mixes up enemy placement and safe zone locations, offering veterans of the original game an experience that feels both familiar and fresh. Scholar of the First Sin also adds in a new recurring NPC invader named Forlorn, online enhancements that allow players to find each other more easily, and an increase in the number of players that can inhabit a single online session from four to six.
If you’d rather jump ahead to the final Dark Souls game, the standard edition of Dark Souls 3 can be had for $14.99. Meanwhile, the Dark Souls 3 Deluxe Edition’s discount only equates to 55 percent, though that’s still a pretty good deal, bringing it down from $84.98 to $38.24. Along with the base game, the Deluxe Edition comes with Dark Souls 3’s two expansive DLC packs, Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City.
The above discounts will only be available until this coming Thursday, May 24, so be sure to act fast if you want to take advantage of them. You can also peruse the rest of the Humble Store’s on sale section to see all of the other games you can currently nab on the cheap.
