Following the recent gameplay reveal event where content creators live-streamed the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gunfight mode, Infinity Ward has released a brand-new gameplay video showcasing the new mode. The gameplay video offers fans a better look at Gunfight in high-definition 4K video.
The Upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gunfight Mode
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gunfight mode is a new addition to the franchise which features fast-paced 2v2 gameplay. Taking place on very small maps, Gunfight gameplay is highly frenetic. After all, the mode offers no respawns and has a very short round timer. To make the game more of an even playing field, players all start with the same loadout. However, the mode will switch loadouts every couple of rounds. As a result, players will need to utilise a variety of different loadouts effectively in order to win.
The new gameplay video shows off Gunfight in action across the three maps which have been revealed so far. In all likelihood, the video is also the best-quality look which players have gotten so far at Modern Warfare’s gameplay. Thus far, Infinity Ward have only shown gameplay from Gunfight. However, the studio is planning a larger gameplay reveal for the 1st of August. No details have yet been made public about that event, so we don’t know exactly what will be shown off. However, it’s likely to reveal much more than the most recent one.
If a recent leak is to be believed, fans may get their first chance to play Modern Warfare for themselves in late August; a recent leak purported to reveal the start dates for an upcoming gameplay beta. That leak states that the beta will begin on the 20th of August for the PS4, and one week later for Xbox One and PC. It’s possible that Infinity Ward or Activision could reveal beta dates (whether the leak proves accurate or not) as part of the upcoming gameplay reveal event.
