For a few months now, rumors have been circulating over what Call of Duty 2019 will be about. Some believe that it is going to be a sequel for the Modern Warfare series. Other think of it as the next Ghosts title. There’s also a small part of the community that believes that it will be an entirely new entry to the franchise. Whichever the case, there are hints indicating what the next Call of Duty game will be. Ready to find out?
For starters, we can expect Infinity Ward to take a subtle move on their yearly release in 2019. Infinite Warfare wasn’t the studios’ highest moment. This means that a sequel to their best series will be an easy yet profiting road for this year. Call of Duty 2019 has been highly rumored to be Modern Warfare 4 over the past year.
Last year Craig Fairbrass, the actor who plays Gaz and Ghost in previous Modern Warfare titles, has pupdated his Twitter profile that he featured in ‘Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 1/2/3/4’. Modern Warfare 4 was since deleted but the “leak” still remains in our memories.
Additionally, a leaker has also revealed that Call of Duty 2019 will be Modern Warfare 4 earlier last year. He previously has revealed more accurate leaks for Black Ops 4 so, as far as we know, this too could be credible.
In addition, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier has stated on ResetEra that it’s not Ghosts 2. We still don’t know if this information is credible so do take this with a grain of salt. For all we know, everything points to Call of Duty 2019 being Modern Warfare 4.
Even if we don’t know the outcome yet, we’ll have to speculate for the time being. The Call of Duty 2019 announcement will most likely happen during early summer so there’s a lot of time for rumors to start flourishing. Keep yourself afloat of the fuss and we’ll be back to you with more news about the next Call of Duty title.
