Fortnite Chapter 3 rumors have been a very popular topic among players lately. These rumors are about the start of the new chapter and many players believe that Fortnite Chapter 3 will start after Season 8. While nothing has been confirmed by Epic Games yet, there is strong evidence that suggests this could happen.
The first Fortnite chapter had 10 seasons, which is why many players believed the second one would be the same. However, the recent hints by Epic indicate that the current chapter could end in just a month. There are many clues that hint towards the end, so we might get a huge surprise very soon!
Fortnite Chapter 3 starting right after Season 8?
There has been a lot of new content added to Fortnite Battle Royale in the past few weeks. The new content includes the Cube Queen and the landmark, the Convergence, she is positioned over. Queen’s staff and several other cosmetic items contain a lot of clues about a possible ending of the chapter. You can read more about it here.
Epic Games has hinted at the start of Chapter 3 even outside of the game. In one of their blog posts, they referred to the next season as “the season that follows Season 8.” Considering that Chapter 2 has already lasted longer than Chapter 1, adding two more seasons would be too much. Two more seasons would extend the current chapter by at least five or six more months.
Donald Mustard may have revealed the next chapter
Furthermore, Donald Mustard, Chief Creative Officer at the company, tweeted something interesting about the following seasons as well. On September 12, just before Season 8, Mustard tweeted the following: “I’m ultra biased. But. I’ve been SO excited about getting to CH2 S7 for like… a long time. I hope you loved it. CH2 S8 and the two after it are maybe my very favorite parts. Well, until that one thing. I can’t decide. I love it all. Can’t wait for you to experience all of it!”
As you can see, he refers to the current and the last season of Fortnite as “CH2 S8” and “CH2 S7” respectively. However, he doesn’t mention Season 9 or Season 10/Season X anywhere. Instead, Mustard refers to the next seasons as “the two after it [Season 8].”
