There’s a number of things we’ve wanted to know about Bandai Namco’s upcoming fighter game, Jump Force, but nothing could have prepared us for the reveal of Jump Force battle intros as well as seeing the character select screen for ourselves. Seeing characters like Naruto Uzumaki and Hisaka Morow pop up as players scrolled through the character selection was phenomenal.
But how did we manage to see this? Well, thanks to PAX West there have been a number of uploads from players showing off a numerous amount of features from Jump Force. Justin Wong, a professional player for Echo Fox, managed to tweet some video clips. Both of which you can check out below.

As you can see there are a number of things to talk about here. We’ve got Naruto, Dragon Ball, One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, Bleach and a whole lot more, and it’s likely that the roster is nowhere near done, especially as there are lot more Shonen animes in Shonen Jump than what has been shown.
Of course, it is a little worrying that there doesn’t seem to be a lot of female characters in the character select, but if we’re to believe the words of Jump Force’s producer then we’ll seeing a lot more soon. Let’s cross our fingers and hope that characters like Chi-Chi, Launch, Sakura, Ino and more will be on their way soon.
Jump Force battle intros were also introduced, and it looks like characters will have a ton of smack talk to throw at one another. Though we were a little sad that the two other characters involved in your party were very, very mute. Perhaps that will change as the game progresses, but for now, we don’t have our hopes up on that matter.
Jump Force is expected to come out on the PS4, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2019.
