Hopefully, you have already downloaded Journey and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for free through the Sony Play at Home Initiative. But one thing you might not be aware of is that it is possible for you to get Knack 2 for free right now as well. Doing so is a little more involved than getting the other two games for free for PS4, but beyond putting in a little extra effort, there isn’t a catch.
Here is How to Get Knack 2 for Free
Sony listed Knack 2 for free at its German regional PlayStation Store. Does this mean that only German PS4 gamers can get Knack 2 without paying for it? No. Anyone can, so long as they have an account on the German regional store. And the good news is that anyone can have an account, whether they are German or not.
You will need to open a German PSN account, which may require that you create a new user, since you already likely have a PSN account linked to the user you generally log in as. Once you have the German PSN account and profile, make sure you choose Germany as your region. List a German town and province and input 49536 where it asks for your postal code. When PSN asks you whether you are using your primary PS4 console, say “yes.”
Once you have successfully completed the sign-up process, you will have a German PSN account which you can use to download through the German PlayStation Store. Log in and grab Knack 2 for free. We recommend that you do this as soon as you can, because we don’t know how long this freebie is going to be available.
