Recently we found out about Godfall, one of the launch titles for the PlayStation 5, complete with a new trailer. But what other games will we be able to play on the PS5? According to industry insider Daniel Ahmad, who in turn found out from a LinkedIn page, one game which may be on its way to PlayStation 5 is Knives Out.
What to Know About Knives Out on PS5
For those not familiar with Knives Out, this is a game that already exists on Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms. Here is the tweet from Ahmad:
The text reads, “Linkedin page shows that Knives Out, the battle royale game from NetEase, could also be coming to PS5 in addition to PS4.
The game is currently out for smartphones (global) and Nintendo Switch (Japan) with a PS4 release planned soon.”
Also, in the tweet, you can view the image of the LinkedIn page, which lists a job role of “Department Art Director/Product Manager” at Netease Games. Under this role, it lists “Knives Out Battle Royale Franchise,” and beneath that, “SONY Playstation® Console PS4 PS5 Full Development/Production Pipeline.”
Knives Out is more well-known among mobile gamers than those on consoles at the moment, but it is growing in popularity. It focuses on team play to survive battle royale combat.
Aside from Godfall and (maybe) Knives Out, we still know very little about the games that will be coming to PlayStation 5.
