Konami Announces PES 2020 Data Pack 4.0 and Mobile V 4.2.0 Update Details
Konami has recently revealed several updates planned for the week ahead. Gamers can look forward to the new PES 2020 Data Pack 4.0 for the console game as well as a PES Mobile V 4.2.0 update. Here are some of the latest details on what’s ahead this week for the console game and mobile app.
Konami PES 202 Data Pack 4.0 to include new player faces
It’s time for another Pro Evolution Soccer eFootball update! While full details have yet to arrive for PES 2020 Data Pack 4.0, Konami gave fans an early teaser. On Twitter, they revealed some of the new player faces that will appear in the Pro Evolution Soccer title once the update goes live. Check out the video clip below with a quick look at some of the new player faces that will be in the update.
Just four players are featured in the clip with Henderson, Lazaro, Wesley, and Rooney. While face, hairstyle, and player likeness updates are always a welcome addition to sports video games, gamers want more.
It seems many people from the community especially want to see some of the gameplay glitches or problems addressed. Those sorts of things make it harder for Pro Evolution Soccer to compete with the FIFA 20 game. Hopefully, when more complete PES Data Pack notes arrive, that will be the case.
PES Mobile Data Update details revealed
Gamers using the PES Mobile apps received a bit more information concerning an upcoming V 4.2.0 update coming this week. Konami revealed on their @officialpes Twitter that it will need about 1.6 gigabytes worth of free space to install. Due to the size, they’re recommending mobile gamers use a Wi-Fi network for the download, rather than cellular.
They also recommend that gamers wait for a bit even after the download progress bar reaches 100 percent. This is to make sure the entire download arrives on the mobile device. Otherwise, the update file won’t be there to properly install.
The good news is that all of those who download the v4.2.0 update will receive a free “Black Ball” Special Agent as a reward. So it pays to have patience with the new PES Mobile update this week.
The v4.2.0 update will be available on Apple’s App Store for iOS and at Google Play Store for Android. The planned release date for the PES Mobile update will be on February 13, 2020. It’s possible the PES Data Pack 4.0 will go live on the same day or around this date, but so far no full release date details are known.
