There’s a new fastest quarterback in the world of Madden 20. On Tuesday, Lamar Jackson officially received the crown when his Madden 20 speed rating went up a bit. Based on his recent play on the real NFL field, a special Madden 20 ratings adjust made the proper change and officially passed the torch to the league’s top star.
Michael Vick recognizes Lamar Jackson Madden 20 speed rating
In order to become fastest in the game, Lamar Jackson had to pass another Madden 20 speed legend. That legend is none other than the “cheat code” known as Michael Vick. The former Atlanta Falcons quarterback really set the tone when it comes to the scrambling QBs of today. He quickly became one of the best all-time sports stars in video game history too.
On Tuesday, The Checkdown and US Nike Football gifted Lamar Jackson some special Nike cleats to commemorate his Madden 20 speed rating achievement. Michael Vick was part of the presentation in a passing of the torch, or cleats, rather.
Lamar Jackson’s official Madden 20 speed rating is now a 96 overall in terms of his key attributes. It’s a fitting adjustment based on what the MVP contender is showing this season.
In 11 games so far this season, Lamar’s stats include 124 rushing attempts for 876 yards and six touchdowns. He currently boasts a 7.1 yards per run average and achieved a career-long run of 46 yards. The Baltimore Ravens are also sitting pretty as the playoffs draw closer. They’re currently listed as the No. 2 seed in the NFL Playoff picture. However, a Patriots’ loss could put the Ravens up top should Jackson and Baltimore keep on winning.
In terms of Madden 20 ratings, Lamar is the No. 7 quarterback overall, with stars including Brett Favre, Tom Brady, and cover athlete Patrick Mahomes near or at the top. That gives him some room to rise as he’s currently rated as an 87 overall in the video game.
Lamar also has Superstar abilities in the game with both Escape Artist and Fastbreak. Many people in the gaming community feel that the next logical step should be for EA to make him one of the Superstar X-Factor players in the game. Currently, Earl Thomas III is the only Ravens Superstar X-Factor player, but Jackson seems deserving by now.
By the time the season and postseason have wrapped up, he may be very deserving of the Madden 21 cover as well.
