There’s quite a lot going on in GTA Online at present, from triple rewards for aerial combat missions to several massive cash rewards which Gearbox is giving out to players. However, two things which are about to go away (at least for the time being), are the GTA Online Alien Survival Series and Peyote plants. If you still haven’t done these things, you should do so ASAP; after all, they’ll be departing the game on the 13th of April.
The GTA Online Alien Survival Series and Peyote Plants
The GTA Online Alien Survival Series and Peyote plants both featured as part of the game’s Halloween 2019 event, and recently came back for a limited time. However, that time is almost up. The first of the two consists of Survival Mode missions scattered around the map which pit you against waves of enemies. The latter are plants which you can consume to enter hallucinations where you can play as animals – even as Bigfoot.
This is the first time that either of these features have been playable in-game since Halloween last year. It’s unclear why Rockstar decided to bring them back now, but they’re both certainly fun diversions for players from the normal content found in the rest of the game. As such, if you haven’t had a chance to play Alien Survival or one of the Peyote hallucinations, be sure to do so before they disappear. After all, it could be months before they return again.
GTA Online’s aerial combat rewards event is currently still live too, offering players triple rewards for various aerial missions. This event also includes significant store discounts on hangars and some aircraft. Finally, Gearbox is offering players some major cash bonuses just for playing GTA Online this month. So long as you play the game at least once this April, you’ll receive a $500,000 bonus within the next seven days.
