Last Chance to Play Sticks and Stones in Call of Duty: Mobile

While Season 2 is progressing over in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with the launch of today’s new content update and the addition of Boots on the Ground War, Call of Duty: Mobile players also have a new mode to try out. However, the new Call of Duty: Mobile Sticks and Stones game mode is only available for another few days. As such, players will need to get their fill of it sooner rather than later.

The Call of Duty: Mobile Sticks and Stones Game Mode

The new Call of Duty: Mobile Sticks and Stones game mode first launched a couple of days ago. However, it’s only available in-game for a very limited window; it will be going away on the 29th of February. As such, if you want to try it out, you’ll need to do so in the next few days. At its core, Sticks and Stones is a brutal mode with highly restrictive weapon options. Instead of guns, players must take each other down with no more than knives, axes, and crossbows.

Call of Duty Mobile Sticks and Stones Game Mode 2

Call of Duty series fans might well recognise Sticks and Stones. The mode first appeared in the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, and made its return in Black Ops 4 seven months ago. Now, it’s the latest classic mode to come to Call of Duty: Mobile. The Sticks and Stones mode doesn’t feature the normal Create-A-Class options. Instead, players have a preset loadout which includes a Crossbow, a Combat Axe, and a Ballistic Knife. Using these weapons, they need to eliminate other players and reach a point total to win the match. While scoring kills with any weapon will net you points, Combat Axe kills have an added effect.

If you kill a player with a Combat Axe, which is arguably the toughest method to score a kill in Sticks and Stones, that unfortunate victim’s score will be erased, knocking them all the way to the bottom of the scoreboard. If you want to try out this frenetic, close-quarters mode, you’ll need to act quickly. Sticks and Stones will no longer be available in-game after the 29th of February; this coming Saturday.
