At present, there are three events active in Borderlands 3; Co-op Loot Drop, Making it Rain, and Mr. Torgue’s Slaughter Onslaught. Of these three, the latter two will be coming to an end in just a couple of days’ time. On the 23rd of April, Gearbox will be releasing their final pair of mini-events for the month, as they prepare for the upcoming launch of Revenge of the Cartels.
Making it Rain & Mr. Torgue’s Slaughter Onslaught
Gearbox has been releasing new Borderlands 3 mini-events all throughout April, alongside the ongoing Co-op Loot Drop event (which will end at the end of the month). Each pair of mini-events has been a week long, and the final pair will be launching on the 23rd. Both Making it Rain and Mr. Torgue’s Slaughter Onslaught will end on that morning. As such, if you want to take advantage of the offerings they provide, you’ll need to do sooner rather than later.
The first of the two active mini-events, Making it Rain, is a relatively generic but potentially quite lucrative event. While it remains active, this event increases the number of Cash drops from all normal, Anointed, and Badass enemies in Borderlands 3. As a result, players should be finding more cash as they fight enemies, regardless of where they are.
The second of the two mini-events is Mr. Torgue’s Slaughter Onslaught. Like previous mini-events which focused specifically on boosting rewards for a certain activity, this event increases the rewards you’ll get from the Circle of Slaughter. More specifically, it increases the number of dedicated loot drops from Circle of Slaughter bosses. As such, you should get more loot from each Circle boss that you take down. Of course, both of these events will be ending on the morning of the 23rd. It’s currently unknown what the next pair of Borderlands 3 mini-events will be.
