Elder Scrolls: Legends Update Brings Bug Fixes and New Card Collection

The latest Elder Scrolls: Legends update is now available, and with it, the FrostSpark Collection. This new card collection was originally teased by SparkyPants Studios under the name “The Frostfall Collection,” but had its name changed at some stage; most likely to tie in with the studio’s own name. The collection includes 11 new unique cards, which have now been revealed.

The FrostSpark Collection and Newest Elder Scrolls: Legends Update

When the FrostSpark Collection was first teased, only one of the eleven cards was shown; the Piercing Twilight. Now, all eleven have been detailed by SparkyPants Studios. The release is seemingly intended to tide players over as they wait for the release of the Isle of Madness story expansion, coming relatively soon. The Collection is available for sale in the game for either 1,500 Gold or $9.99. A second version of the Collection called the FrostSpark Premium Card Collection is available for $19.99. This version contains; “premium, animated playsets of all the cards found in the FrostSpark Collection.”

The FrostSpark Collection Includes 11 Cards

According to SparkyPants Studios, the theme of the new Collection is; “interesting and unusual game interactions.” All told, the eleven cards are as follows:

  • Apex Wolf: This 4/4 card costs 6 to summon. It has the Breakthrough, Drain, and Last Gasp abilities. Last Gasp allows the player to draw the top creature from their deck and also give it Breakthrough and Drain.
  • Death Hound: This 6/6 card costs 5 to summon. It has the Guard ability, and its power is equal to its health.
  • Destruction Tutor: This 3/5 card costs 5 to summon. Actions that deal damage cost 2 less with this card summoned.
  • Green Pact Ambusher: This 4/1 card costs just 2 to summon. It has the Prophecy and Guard abilities. Additionally, when your opponent ends their turn and they have a full lane while the Green Pact Ambusher is in your hand, you can immediately summon it to that lane.
  • Harmony: This card costs 2 to use. It has the Prophecy ability, and it causes all enemy creatures to take -2/-0 until the start of your turn.
  • Karthspire Scout: This 1/1 card costs 1 to summon. Its Last Gasp ability lets you draw a card but increase its cost by 1.
  • Piercing Twilight: This 4/4 card costs 4 to summon. It has the Guard ability and Summon; this allows you to choose a card from your opponent’s discard pile and banish all cards from their deck with the same name.
  • Shadowmarking: This card costs 3 to summon. It allows you to see your deck’s top three cards, put one into your opponent’s hand and draw the other two yourself.
  • Sword of the Inferno: This item card costs 2 to summon. It gives a card +2/+0 and when you Summon it, the wielder gets to deal 2 damage to another creature but takes 2 damage itself.
  • Torval Extortionist: This 7/5 card costs 5 to summon. When slain, you gain magicka equal to its cost.
  • Wilds Incarnate: This 5/6 card costs 7 to summon. It has the Guard ability and when Summoned, you can draw a card if you have 4 runes. If you have 5+ runes, you can draw an extra card too.
