Madden 19 Bowl 2019 Details: How to Watch Live Online, Field of Competitors

On the same day as the 2019 NFL Draft takes place, the Madden Bowl 2019 will officially get underway. A total of 16 gamers will be competing for the ultimate prize. There’s money on the line, but bragging rights as the best-of-the-best in competitive Madden. Here are all the Madden 19 Bowl 2019 details including who’s participating, what’s up for grabs, and how to watch the competition live online.

Madden 19 Bowl 2019 Competitors, Stakes

The Madden 19 Bowl 2019 field will feature four groups which will have four competitors each. Just recently, the final two competitors earned their spots through the Last Chance Qualifiers. They were Nakell “SomeSerious” Powell and Kevin “Sixth Sense” Jones. They will be the No.  15 and No. 16 seeds, respectively. They’ll have their work cut out for them in a field stacked full of serious competition.

Heading into the tournament as the top overall seed will be Pavan “Pavan” Lakhat. The 18-year-old won the Madden 19 Club Championship and a cash prize of $100,000 this past February. Madden 18 Bowl runner-up Drini “Drini” Gjoka is the No. 2 seed. Madden 18 Bowl semifinalist Abbott “Blocky” Lopez and Michael “Skimbo” Skimbo are the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds, respectively. Skimbo is looking to make history with a fourth championship belt win.

As seen above, some of the other star gamers Christian “Chritobin” Lomenzo and Shay “Young Kiv” Kivlen will be in an intriguing Group C. As competitive Madden enthusiasts may know, Young Liv is the reinging Madden Bowl champion. He’s the No. 14 seed in this tournament while Chritobin is No. 11 seed. Chritobin won the Madden 19 Challenge by defeating the defending champ Drini. That makes this quite the group to watch.

Up for grabs at the Madden 19 Bowl 2019 competition is a prize pool of $200,000 as well as points for the rankings. The winner walks away with $40,000 of that prize money and the official Madden Bowl Championship belt. So this will be quite the three days worth of competitive gaming to witness!

How to watch Madden 19 Bowl 2019 live

The latest edition of the Madden Bowl will get quite the coverage thanks to streaming platform Twitch and the televised sports network ESPN. They’ll have coverage of the finals together, while Twitch brings the entirety of the tournament over three days.

It all begins with Group Stage matchups. Day 1 will kickoff on Thursday (Apr. 25) at 1 p.m. Eastern Time and run through 8 p.m. ET on EA Madden NFL Twitch channel. Day 2 starts on Friday (Apr. 26) at 1 p.m. ET and runs until 8 p.m. ET on the EA Madden Twitch channel.

On Saturday (Apr. 27), viewers can witness the quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship final match. The quarterfinals are on Twitch from 1 p.m. through 3 p.m. ET. The semifinals will be from 3 p.m. through 5 p.m. ET. A two-hour ESPN Docuseries called “Road to the Madden Bowl” will go live from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET. 

After that, the official Madden Championship Bowl final will air in all its glory. Viewers can watch it on the EA Madden NFL Digital channels or on television via ESPN2. Live streaming is available on the EA Madden Twitch or WatchESPN mobile platform.
