Madden 19 Bowl Champion Crowned as Drini Records Dominant Finals Win To Capture Belt
The Madden Bowl 2019 Champion has been officially decided. EA Studios in Redwood City, California hosted the finals as Drini “Drini” Gjoka took his second championship victory in a shutout. He was able to take out promising future star Spoto in the grand finale of the past several days of competition. Here’s a look at how he got it done and what he gets for all of his efforts.
Drini gets shutout win to claim Madden Bowl belt
It all came down to Drini vs. Spoto in the Madden Bowl 2019 finals. Drini would continue rolling with the Dallas Cowboys for his Ultimate Team squad while Spoto went with his New York Giants. Drini would employ tough defense to record an impressive shutout, 41-0. He also used one of his key players on offense, running back Joe Mixon to rack up the yards on the ground.
The Madden League Ops Twitter posted a first-half highlight video and it was nothing but Drini.
Drini built a dominant lead early. He’d make sure that Spoto never got any momentum as he had key interceptions and fumble recoveries. The impressive esports star got it up to 31-0 by the time the fourth quarter was underway. He’d add a field goal to continue the shutout, 34-0. Drini went on to force a fumble and score yet another touchdown making it an embarrassing 41-0 lead. As the clock ticked towards zero, he left his punting team on the field rather than trying to add further humiliation.
Drini wins Madden 19 Bowl belt, prize money
Following the victory, the confetti fell as the crowd heaped praise upon the 2019 Madden Bowl champion. Drini hoisted his Madden Bowl Championship belt in celebration of the impressive win.
Drini was the Madden 18 Challenge winner and Madden Bowl runner-up last year as a rookie. He has certainly built upon that success. This past season he went to the Madden 19 Classic quarterfinals and Madden 19 Challenge Championship game. Now he can call himself the Madden Bowl champion and proudly display that belt.
Viewers witnessed Drini’s dominant Madden 19 Bowl championship victory on both the Twitch platform and ESPN2 Saturday night. With his victory, he not only adds the title to his name and gets that cool Madden 19 Bowl championship belt, but also $40,000 in prize money. Congratulations to the new champion!
