Monday Night Football had a rather lackluster matchup last week in terms of competitors, but the Week 11 game is a potential Super Bowl preview. It also features several players who are near the top of the discussion for NFL MVP this season. A recent Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Rams Madden 19 simulation gave a preview of what may happen on Monday night.
Madden 19 Simulation: Chiefs at Rams
This particular matchup features two teams that look to be in the driver’s seat for No. 1 seeds in their respective conference. The Kansas City Chiefs are currently 9-1 overall and sitting in first place in the AFC West. They’ve been guided by the leadership of sophomore quarterback sensation Patrick Mahomes, who has been on pace to capture the NFL MVP Award. He’s seen his Madden 19 ratings boosted several times during the season thanks to impressive performances week after week.
On the opposite side will be the 9-1 Los Angeles Rams. They’re first in the NFC West but currently are in the No. 2 seed for the NFC Playoffs. The New Orleans Saints share a 9-1 record and have a win over the Rams. Meanwhile, tonight’s game is in Los Angeles, giving Jared Goff, Todd Gurley, and the Rams the advantage.
Just like Mahomes, Todd Gurley is also a name mentioned often in the NFL MVP discussion. He’s been one of the top-rated players in Madden 19 as well, and that makes sense as he also compiles big games just about every week.
Both Todd Gurley and Patrick Mahomes were midseason award winners for Madden 19, so one of them may have the big game tonight. Many gamers are using these two teams and star players within Madden to wreak havoc on the opposition.
Madden 19 Simulation results for Monday’s winner
Madden 19 simulations are run by many gamers as well as websites. One of those came from The Undefeated which calls this a “lopsided” matchup. The way their simulation went, the Rams’ defense seemed to really limit what Mahomes and the Chiefs could do. Kansas City managed just five points in the first half and a touchdown in the second.
The game ended 31-12 in favor of the Rams. Gurley ended up being their star performer for the game. He had 184 yards and two rushing touchdowns. It should be interesting to see how close this Madden 19 simulation is to the actual Monday Night Football game involving the Chiefs and Rams.
There are plenty of Madden simulation games on YouTube as well, including this one from September. The results aren’t quite as lopsided, but still in favor of the home team LA Rams.
The Monday Night Football game arrives on ESPN starting at 8:15 p.m. Eastern Time. The Los Angeles Rams will be three-point favorites to win. For more of the latest news for the hit football game, check out the VGR Madden 19 page.
