It’s the weekend, and new Ultimate Legends are available in Madden 19’s Ultimate Team mode. The latest Madden 19 Ultimate Legends players include a pair of star Super Bowl champions on offense as well as a lesser-known defender that many gamers may not be familiar with. So far, the initial response is there are some decent cards available. Others feel they are not worth trying for. Still, having a shot at a Bobby Bell, John Elway, or Jerry Rice LTD card with 99 OVR and sweet attributes is a reason for many gamers to be fired up.
Madden Ultimate Legends: John Elway, Bobby Bell cards
Leading the way for the new trio of Ultimate Legends is former Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway. While he’s now known as an executive who is trying to guide the Broncos to more Super Bowl titles, Elway originally brought them two as a player. For his QB career, he tallied 51,475 passing yards and 300 touchdowns on 4,123 completions. He was an NFL MVP and a Super Bowl MVP who also had nine Pro Bowl selections.
For gamers who might want to add another solid quarterback option on their MUT rosters, this new Elway card could fit the order. His new MUT Legends Power-up card includes 97s for Throw Power, Throw Under Pressure, and Throw Accuracy Short. Add that 98 Throw Accuracy Deep and he can definitely throw your MUT receivers some bombs down the field.
Elway is joined by Kansas City Chiefs defensive star Bobby Bell. The Former Kansas City Chiefs legend is a 6-foot-4 outside linebacker. His key attributes include 97 Play Recognition. 96 Tackle, 92 Acceleration, 90 Block Shedding. Gamers who need a 4-3 Zone linebacker with their defense may be best able to use the new Bell Legends card. It all depends on what sort of defensive strategy is being used.
Madden 19 Legends: LTD Jerry Rice card
Gamers had to wait until Saturday’s Daily Drops episode at Madden Twitch channel to learn of this weekend’s limited Madden 19 Ultimate Legends player. It’s none other than San Francisco 49ers great Jerry Rice. For most fans, young and old, he needs no introduction. His Hall of Fame career features 15 seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, three with the Oakland Raiders, and a final season in Seattle. Rice is the NFL’s all-time receiving yards leader and has three Super Bowl rings to show off, as well as an NFL MVP Award.
It’s only natural that he has a pretty impressive LTD card available. His 99 OVR card (below) has Power-Up as well and includes 99s on Catching and Short Route Run. He’s also got a 96 Speed which gamers can power right up to 99. His attributes are in the 90s across the board so this card will allow for upgrading to 99s all over. Not bad at all for those gamers who may not have selected Rice as their Ultimate Team captain.
Gamers can try to pull these latest Ultimate Legends cards out of the packs in Ultimate Team’s store. In addition, there are auctions going on for player cards where gamers can acquire any of the three Madden 19 Ultimate Legends players mentioned.
