On Saturday, football gamers got another surprise content drop with several new Madden 19 Ultimate Team cards. They include another round of Scouting Combine Limiteds and Ultimate Legends for gamers to go after in packs or elsewhere. Of those cards, gamers will be looking for John Ross and Walter Payton to add to MUT rosters. Here are more details on the five new player cards available as of Saturday (Mar. 2).

Madden 19 Ultimate Team Cards: Scouting Combine Limiteds

We reported on the daily content drops for the new Madden 19 Scouting Combine promotion over the past four days. Just yesterday, a few Combine Limiteds dropped as part of the final big release for content. On Saturday, two more Limiteds were unveiled for the new promotion. They are Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and the Cincinnati Bengals’ John Ross.

Of those two players, Ross has been involved in recent trade rumor headlines. It’s unknown whether he’ll stay a member of the Bengals squad or be dealt elsewhere for next season. Nonetheless, this young receiver was impressive during his 2017 Combine days.

He now has this 97 OVR card available for a limited time. Among the top skills he has are a 99 Speed, 98 Deep Route Run, and 96 Catching. Not too bad at all, and makes him a great addition for the roster not just at the WR spot but as a return specialist.

That makes the John Ross look like the better card here, although some gamers may want to add that Josh Allen for their Bills team chemistry if they have that sort of MUT roster. He’s a 98 Throw Power and 96 Throw on the Run among his most attractive player ratings for the Ultimate Team gamers.

Madden 19 Ultimate Team Cards: Legends Walter Payton, More

We’ve also got a trio of stellar Ultimate Legends cards that dropped. Leading the way is none other than “Sweetness” himself, Walter Payton. The legendary Chicago Bears running back is back again after making appearances in other Ultimate Team events before. That included the Harvest Turkey Bowl promotion during Thanksgiving holiday season.

Payton brings a 98 OVR with this new Legends card. His 98 Break Tackle will certainly come in handy along with other skills in the low to mid-90s for Trucking, Agility, Elusiveness, and Speed. Just don’t throw too many passes his way with that 71 rating for Catching.

Along with the Payton card are a Detroit Lions cornerback Night Traine Lane and Philadelphia Eagles’ Donovan McNabb card. They’ll each carry 98 OVRs as well as additional skill ratings in the 90s. Of those two cards, it’s noted that the McNabb will be “available in MUT packs for a limited time.” That doesn’t’ seem to apply to Payton or Lane.
