Two legends on the gridiron are now featured as part of Madden 19 Ultimate team packs. They are the Carolina Panthers’ Greg Olsen and Baltimore Ravens’ Terrell Suggs. With their high ratings player cards, MUT gamers can boost their roster that much more. In addition, there are ways to power up those MUT cards if you get them. Here are more details on these new Madden 19 Ultimate Team Legends player cards which bring some impressive ratings with them.
Madden 19 Ultimate Team Legends: Greg Olsen, TE
Having a stellar receiving corps in Madden Ultimate Team goes a long way towards making those tough catches or bombs down the field. That’s especially true if you’ve got a decent or great quarterback passing the ball. Having a tight end like Greg Olsen rated at 96 will certainly help quarterbacks on the field. He boasts 97 ratings on Catching and Catching in Traffic.
Add in 95 for Spectacular Catches and that makes him your MUT QB’s new best friend. Gamers will want this card for their lineup unless they have another tight end already built up such as George Kittle from Madden’s TOTY.
Casual NFL fans may not realize it, but Olsen was initially a Chicago Bear for his first four years in the league. He moved to Carolina in 2011 and the rest is history. Over the course of his eight years with the Panthers, he’s tallied 37 touchdowns and 5,866 yards receiving. In all, he’s got 57 TDs and 7,847 yards for his career. Now he’s available with those amazing skill ratings for your Ultimate Team.
Madden 19 Ultimate Team Legends: Terrell Suggs, ROLB
This pair of legends isn’t complete without a top-notch defender and Terrell Suggs fits that bill perfectly. He’s also a 96-rated player in MUT packs. The right outside linebacker brings 96 ratings for Play Recognition, Block Shedding, and Power Moves. However, he’s also got 94 Strength and Tackle ratings. Add all that together and you’ve got a beast on your defense to break through the offensive line and get to the opposing QB or ball carrier.
For his NFL career, Suggs has racked up 132.5 sacks and 601 solo tackles. In the 2018 season, he recorded 25 solo tackles, seven sacks, and a forced fumble as part of a Ravens team that made the 2019 NFL Playoffs. Based on his body of work and imposing defensive skills, he’s a natural choice for the latest MUT Legends pairing.
Madden 19 Ultimate Team Legends: How to get the new MUT cards
The latest Madden 19 Legends are available through the Ultimate Team packs. These are packs gamers can purchase in the Ultimate Team section of the game, and will cost coins to buy. Additionally, gamers can head to the Auction House for the cards to try to win them. Lower-rated overall cards for both Suggs and Olsen also exist in packs or at the Auction House.
Madden 19 Ultimate Team also offers a Solo Challenge for each of these Legends’ teams. By defeating that team in the Solo Challenge you can add a special “Power Up” edition of Olsen or Suggs to your MUT squad. These are special cards you can power up and take your team to the next level.
