There are 197 days until the 2019 NFL season opener. That seems far off for those who enjoy pigskin regularly. However, NFL fans who own Madden 19 aren’t necessarily feeling the drought of the offseason as the game continues to provide new content. Their latest offseason content includes four more Madden 19 Ultimate Team MVP cards with Malcolm Jenkins and Eric Ebron amongst the latest group.
New Madden 19 Ultimate Team MVP cards for Jenkins, Ebron, more
Yesterday, we alerted gamers to the newest Ultimate Team MVPs including the Chicago Bears’ Khalil Mack and Houston Texans’ Deshaun Watson. They were amongst four MVP cards that dropped and unlike the original 20 MVPs revealed, they were players from teams in the postseason. That’s the case with the new group of four player cards in Ultimate Team.
On Wednesday’s Daily Drops Twitch video, Madden revealed four more MVP cards for MUT including a 97-rated Eagles’ Malcolm Jenkins. As NFL fans saw, the Philadelphia Eagles edged the Bears in the playoffs with that Cody Parkey missed field goal still haunting Chicago fans. Jenkins had 13 solo tackles in the postseason.
During his season with the Eagles, he had an interception with a 25-yard return, three forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery for 11 yards. Jenkins also had 79 solo and 18 assists on tackles. The Eagles’ strong safety brings with his card 97 Zone Coverage, 97 Play Recognition, and 95 Acceleration amongst his impressive ratings.

In addition to Jenkins, there’s a new MUT MVP card for the Indianapolis Colts’ Eric Ebron. After four seasons with the Detroit Lions, Ebron had his most productive season in 2018-19 with the Colts. That included 66 receptions for 750 yards and 13 touchdowns with another TD scored on the ground. He gave his team 77 yards and a touchdown on eight catches for the postseason too.
All of that helped qualify the star tight end as his team’s Madden Ultimate Team MVP. His 97-rated card includes a 96 Catching, 96 Spectacular Catch, and 94 Catch in Traffic among his upgraded skills. Ebron is a worthy choice for team MVP as he led them in total touchdowns this past season.
Madden 19 Ultimate Team MVP cards: Keenan Allen, Jaylon Smith
Two other players for teams in the postseason also get MVP cards. They are the San Diego Chargers’ receiver Keenan Allen and Dallas Cowboys’ middle linebacker Jaylon Smith. Just like Ebron and Jenkins, these two players also have 97 OVR cards within Madden Ultimate Team. Smith’s got a 96 Hit Power and 95 Play Recognition amongst his best new numbers. Allen sports a 97 Catching, 97 Short Route Run, and 96 Medium Route Run for his Skills.
With the arrival of the four new Team MVPs are new Team Builder player cards for each of the teams. That means gamers should be on the lookout for the Eagles, Colts, Chargers, or Cowboys’ Team Builders today, as needed. Here’s a look at several of those player cards:
