Each and every week EA Sports presents new Madden 19 Ultimate Team players. These particular individuals were major performers in NFL games this past week. For the latest MUT in Week 12, Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback Kirk Cousins and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper headline the team. Here’s a look at the Madden 19 Team of the Week after the past week’s NFL results.
Cousins, Cooper headline Madden 19 Ultimate Team
Sunday Night Football presented a key matchup when it comes to trying to make the NFL postseason. Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings played hosts as Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers paid a visit. Cousins performed quite well in that game too. He led Minnesota to an important home and division victory with 342 yards and three touchdowns on 29 completed passes.
Cousins, an offseason acquisition for Minnesota, currently sports a 92 rating among QBs. This could be a dark horse contender to make a Super Bowl run as the Cousins and Thielen connection is quite dangerous.

On Thanksgiving Day, the Dallas Cowboys’ Amari Cooper made several impressive receptions. He only had eight catches for the game, but he’s becoming QB Dak Prescott’s favorite new target. Cooper went off for 180 yards and two touchdowns. That performance helped Dallas win at home against the Washington Redskins and move to the top of the NFC East division. Cooper’s presence could be what helps bring Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, and the Cowboys deep into the postseason.
Madden 19 Ultimate Team: Other MUT Stars of Week 13
How about some defensive MUT stars? In Detroit on Thanksgiving Day, the Chicago Bears were without starting QB Mitch Trubisky. The Bears’ defense was huge in terms of getting a win over the Lions. Kyle Fuller headed up that Bears D and finished the day with eight tackles, two defended passes and a huge end zone interception in the late part of the game.
The Chicago corner is currently an 87 overall thanks to his speed, acceleration, jumping and agility skills. Chicago Bears fans are probably hoping to see a Super Bowl highlight like the one below in February 2019.
The Philadelphia Eagles are still battling for a playoff spot. At 4-6 heading into Sunday’s game with the New York Giants, they got stellar defense courtesy of strong safety Malcolm Jenkins. He defended a pass, forced a fumble, and had an interception, along with six tackles on the day. That helped the Eagles continue their quest to get back to the postseason. Jenkins sports a 94 rating in the game. He boasts 95 scores for his zone coverage and play recognition.
Other players qualifying for this week’s Madden 19 Ultimate Team included the New England Patriots’ Sony Michel, Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Jameis Winston. Fans can check out the entire MUT lineup via the EA Sports website. Adding these players to one’s Madden Ultimate Team can help boost the team’s overall rating. Gamers will now be on the hunt for these MUT cards in the game!
