Madden 19 Ultimate Team Squads & Duos Limited Time Event For Rushing Touchdowns Available
On Tuesday, the Madden 19 Ultimate Team mode got a brand new House Rules limited time event. Gamers will now be able to take advantage of those players that excel in the ground game. That’s because the new Madden 19 Ultimate Team Squads and Duos event will feature rushing touchdowns as the theme for extra points under House Rules.
Madden 19 Ultimate Team Squads & Duos event underway
We learned on Tuesday (Feb. 19), that Madden 19 Ultimate Team (MUT) House Rules now features a new rushing touchdown promotion in Squads and Duos. Players can now earn extra points based on how long of a touchdown run they can score with a player. As seen in the tweet from the EA Madden Ultimate Team Twitter, gamers get points for rushing TDs of 25-plus or 50-plus yards when playing in Squads or Duos modes.

As also seen in the tweet, these are new House Rules for Squads and Duos. Any touchdown that is 25 yards or more earns nine extra points. Any touchdown that is 50 yards or longer gets 12 points.
The latest feature is among the recent Madden offseason updates for Ultimate Team in-game content, challenges, or events. It joins the Team Builders and Madden Ultimate Team MVPs that are now available in the game during the offseason. The team Most Valuable Players included recent additions Khalil Mack and Deshaun Watson. They arrived as part of four new MVPs a day ago, in addition to 20 other team MVPs from the start of the offseason promotion.
The Madden 19 Ultimate Team Squads and Duos event with rushing touchdowns lasts for just 48 hours. So that means gamers will need to get their top running backs out on the field to attempt those long runs to the end zone. With backs like Todd Gurley, Ezekiel Elliott, Saquon Barkley, and the legendary Walter Payton amongst MUT card options, it should be achievable. All that’s necessary is finding that hole and exploding down the field.
