For a lot of players, a major pet peeve in Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) has been the Contracts feature. Contracts don’t really contribute anything of value, and they eat up coins.
Thankfully, they are a thing of the past. EA Sports has confirmed that Contracts are not going to be featured in Madden 19 at all. As you might expect, the reaction to this news has been nothing short of exuberant. This change was on plenty of players’ wishlists.
We’ve learned a little more about Ultimate Team mode in Madden 19 as well. EA Sports has confirmed the following features:
- Squad Battle
- Solo Battle Weekend League
- Players can be powered up or down
- You can choose the chemistries you want for cards
- There will be new depth chart positions available in MUT as well as Play Now, Franchise and other modes
Coming soon, we can look forward to a more comprehensive announcement of the features which we will be able to look forward to in Madden 19. So be sure to keep checking our Madden 19 news for updates!
