A brand new Madden 19 update arrived on Thursday and it brought along plenty of changes for gamers to check out. EA Sports announced the newest update to the popular game will involve gameplay tuning, updated player visuals, and a whole lot more. They even upgraded the CPU’s logic in certain areas of the game. Here are some of the latest details about the Madden 19 update 1.12 and what’s involved.
Madden 19 Update 1.12 now available
Gamers with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs can now install the new Madden 19 update 1.12. This particular update checks in at a decently-sized 4.2 gigabytes so it could take a bit of time. However, it has plenty of changes to digest. EA Sports mentioned in their patch notes that they’re “addressing community feedback.” (See the full update 1.12 notes for all fixes)
Some of those community concerns may involve the new gameplay fixes. For example, gamers are now able to sub in NFL players via depth charts that are really on injured reserve lists in the NFL. Also, they’ve tweaked “Player Speed Parity” values so that it should be noticeable when you have faster or slower players on the field.

Franchise mode got a good number of updates. Among those, CPU teams have a new logic in place that helps draft players based on team needs. They’ve also re-introduced injuries in Franchise mode when in Competitive leagues. This was something they had in Madden 18 and now brought back into Madden 19 Franchise.
For PC gamers using Madden 19, there were some specific changes made there that may or may not be too noticeable. You can now disable voice chat as a separate setting from the other audio adjustments. In addition, they’ve fixed issues with how stadiums display on the screen and an issue with the progressive install speed moving slowly. These are in addition to other tweaks made in overall Madden 19 gameplay as outlined in their patch notes.
