EA recently unveiled its Madden 20 Color Smash promotion as part of Series 6. With the new Spring/Easter-themed promo came new challenges, player items, world scrambles, Store Offers, Candy, and Eggs. We’ve got the details here on how to get Madden 20 Color Smash Candy and what to use them for in Ultimate Team.
How to get the Madden 20 Color Smash Candy
Many of the seasonal Madden 20 promotions came with their own form of currency specifically for use in that promo. For example, there was Kindling currency during the Christmas holiday promotion or Madden’s Blitz Boltz during the Blitz promotion. Now with the Easter holiday coming up, Madden 20 Color Smash Candy is the new currency.
There are several ways you can get Madden 20 Color Smash Candy as part of the promotion. Just for signing into your Ultimate Team account, you’ll get a welcome pack that consists of a free player card (Barry Sanders). You can Quicksell the card if you don’t want to keep it, and you’ll get Candy for it.
So that’s the first way to get Candy, by quickselling applicable Color Smash player items. You can consider spending Madden Coins or real money at the Store to buy Color Smash Packs or Bundles if you really want another way to get Candy via Quicksells.
The other way to get the Color Smash Candy is through the promotion’s new challenges in Ultimate Team. You can find these in Ultimate Team by scrolling to the “Play” option on the menu and choosing “Challenges.” Next, choose either “Color Smash” or “Color Smash Jamboree” option.
Color Smash – This option includes Color Smash: Greatest Hits and Color Smash Volume 2. These are different game scenarios you try to accomplish, such as scoring 10 points in a quarter. By achieving each goal you’ll earn Candy, depending on which difficulty you’re on, and completion of any extra bonus goals. You’ll also earn Stars towards Milestone rewards, such as 1,000 Candy for 32 Stars. (Note: These Challenges end on April 17 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time)
Color Smash Jamboree – This option has different puzzles, such as word scrambles, or Daily Egg Hunts. You can rack up Candy and other rewards through the completion of these as well. Word Scramble is worth a total of 1,250 Candy while Egg Hunt is worth a total of 2,000 Candy.
What to use the Candy for in Ultimate Team
Now you know how to use Candy, but what can you use it for in Ultimate Team. Basically, Candy can purchase a variety of different Madden 20 Color Smash packs or Store Offers.
For example, there’s a Color Smash Starter Pack for just 350 Candy. There’s only one per gamer, but it gives an 87 OVR Nat Player. You can also buy an 87-95 OVR, 91-95 OVR, or 96 OVR random Color Smash Player for different prices.
Other items for sale for Madden 20 Color Smash Candy include Random Eggs of different sizes and letters for use in the puzzles. So based on how you want to participate in Color Smash, you can use Candy for a variety of options.
Some may prefer to try out packs as a gamble. They could end up providing a Quicksell for more Candy than you spent. Others may want to gamble on the random Eggs which open up on April 12 as a nice Easter treat.
