On Friday, Madden 20 Color Smash promotion officially went live in Ultimate Team. It features a variety of different player cards ranging from 87 to 98 overall ratings with different key attributes. Leading the way for the promotion are the two Color Smash Masters players, Barry Sanders and Ed Reed. Here’s a look at their cards and how to get them.
Madden 20 Color Smash Masters Players Sanders and Reed
With the new Madden 20 Color Smash promotion, there are different groups or tiers of player cards. The base Color Smash players range from 87 OVRs like Tyson Alualu and Dwayne Haskins Jr. up to 95 OVRs like Eddie Jackson and Austin Ekeler.
There are also six Color Smash Heroes, each of which is rated at 96 overall. They are Matt Ryan (Falcons), Mark Andrews (Ravens), Demario Davis (Saints), Ezekiel Elliott (Cowboys), Robert Woods (Rams), and Kendall Fuller (Redskins).
The top tier cards are the two Madden 20 Color Smash Masters rated at 98 OVR. For offense, it’s former Detroit Lions star running back and NFL 100 player Barry Sanders with 99 Agility, 98 Elusiveness, 98 Break Tackle, 95 Speed, and 91 Carrying.
For defense, it’s the Baltimore Ravens’ Ed Reed who previously appeared in Madden Legends. The strong safety has 98 Zone Coverage, 96 Speed, 96 Acceleration, 95 Play Recognition, and 92 Hit Power among key attributes.
How to get the new Reed and Sanders cards
There are several ways to get the new Madden 20 Color Smash Masters players. One way is to put together a set of three of the Color Smash Heroes players. The Color Smash Heroes are available through the new Challenges, Packs, Store Offers (below), and the Auction House.
To get Barry Sanders, you’ll need the set featuring Matt Ryan, Mark Andrews, and Demario Davis. This will get Sanders Masters card along with his Power Up and all three of those players back as NAT cards.
To get Ed Reed, you’ll need a set of Ezekiel Elliott, Robert Woods, and Kendall Fuller. This will get the Reed Masters card along with Power Up and the three Heroes back as NAT cards. Here’s what the Reed set looks like:
You can also purchase Sanders or Reed straight from the Auction House. As of this report, we’ve seen Reed’s card listings going for 380,000 to 440,000 Coins on the PS4. Sanders’ card has been going for around 350,000 to 440,000 Madden Coins. So for gamers with some extra Coins in the account consider buying them outright.
