New Madden 20 Ghosts of Madden Past, Present, and Future Players Arrive on New Year’s Day 2020
It’s a brand new year and in celebration of 2020, EA’s Madden Ultimate Team dropped a batch of new player cards. The new items released for January 1st include a total of 12 player cards from the Madden 20 Ghosts of Madden Past, Present, and Future collections. Among the star players are Nick Bosa, Julio Jones, and Patrick Willis.
Madden 20 Ghosts of Madden Past include Willis, Harrison
In a blast from the past, gamers received four greats from the gridiron who are no longer part of the NFL. That includes defensive beast, Patrick Willis. The former San Francisco 49ers middle linebacker has a 96 overall rating with 94 Hit Power, 93 Play Recognition, 93 Tackle, 91 Speed, and 90 Block Shedding.
Patrick Willis is the Ghosts of Madden Past Master item which is available when trading in a set of the other three players below. He was previously featured in the MUT 10 promotion making this his best card now.
Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison is also a new item. His 95 OVR item features 93s for Catching, Speed, Medium Run, and Short Run. Also included are Vikings defensive tackle John Randle and Jets center Kevin Mawae with 95 OVR cards as shown below.
Ghosts of Madden Present feature Julio Jones, Jaire Alexander
Plenty of Madden Ultimate Team gamers were requesting a new upgraded card for Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones. On New Year’s Day, they received that gift with a 95 OVR item for Jones. The Falcons star has 96 Jumping, 95 Short Route Run, 94 Medium Route, 93 Spectacular Catch, and 93 Catch in Traffic with a 92 Speed. His item is the Ghosts of Madden Present Master item available when trading a set of the three players below.
There’s also Green Bay Packers cornerback Harrison Smith with a new 94 OVR item. The 5-foot-10 corner has 94 Agility, 94 Press, 93 Man Coverage, 93 Speed, and 91 Play Recognition amongst key attributes.
Also receiving new Madden 20 Ghosts of Madden Present cards are the Vikings’ Harrison Smith and Saints’ Terron Armstead. Both players have new 94 OVR cards as shown below.
Ghosts of Madden Future include Nick Bosa, Josh Jacobs
The future of the league is looking good behind stars like the San Francisco 49ers’ Nick Bosa and Oakland Raiders’ Josh Jacobs. Bosa gets a new 94 OVR card with 93 Acceleration, 91 Tackle, 90 Finesse Moves, and 87 Play Recognition. Bosa previously received a great card for Madden Team of the Week 8. However, this new item is much better. Bosa is the Ghosts of Madden Future Master.
Meanwhile, the Raiders RB Josh Jacobs’ 93 OVR item has 96 Carrying along with 91s for Break Tackle, Trucking, and Acceleration, although the 87 Speed may not be ideal for many MUT rosters.
Joining Bosa and Jacobs are Packers left guard Elgton Jenkins (93 OVR) and New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker (93 OVR). Here are all four of the new Madden 20 Ghosts of Madden Future cards.
Due to their new items, they upgraded the Bosa, Jacobs, and Baker Rookie Premiere items as well.
As mentioned above, the Master players are available by putting together a set of the other three players. All of the Madden 20 Ghosts of Madden players are available through packs or the Auction Browser.
Trading in a set of the three required players for Willis, Jones, or Bosa gets a reward of not only the Master item but also the player’s Power Up. In addition, you’ll receive all three NAT versions of the other players in the set.
