The newest edition of the Madden NFL game is already in trial rotation through EA or Origin early access memberships. The title features a number of exciting new features such as Superstar X-Factor which makes some players have video game abilities. However, it appears there are a number of Madden 20 glitches also being mentioned in the gaming community. These include making quarterbacks and running backs virtually impossible to contain on the field.
Madden 20 glitches show players as impossible to tackle
As early as July 25, many members of the gaming community were able to start trying out Madden 20 early. This was thanks to the First Play trial access granted by EA Access or Origin Access Premier memberships. The game will officially begin arriving for Madden pre-order customers on Tuesday, July 30, while the official release date is August 2.
Based on the early testing from the gaming community, there have been videos and clips of different Madden 20 glitches making the rounds. The video below illustrates how the Madden 20 glitches are making it so quarterbacks and running backs can “bounce off” defenders.
It’s actually comical to watch as the Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson runs all around in the backfield and into safety territory without being knocked down. Check out the YouTube video below to see the full extent of the issue.
Lamar Jackson heads into the new Madden 20 player ratings with a 76 OVR. That includes a 94 Speed, 95 Acceleration, and 95 Agility. Jackson has an Awareness rating of 69. Based on the video above, maybe Jackson’s rating should just be “Invincible.”
The video also shows another player who avoids tackles with no issues. It’s kicker Justin Tucker, though. So this is clearly a major issue to address when fixing any Madden 20 glitches with gameplay. If gamers can score at will without being taken down, it makes the game less of a simulation title and much more of a video game.
Helmet football carrier glitch
Check out the glitch in the Twitter video below. It’s the receiver making a catch without his hands, but instead with his helmet. With the ball carefully in place, he’s able to run down field. Will any NFL stars be able to replicate this play in the coming season? If so, they’ll probably be on SportsCenter Top 10 plays and amongst the NFL highlight plays of the 2019-20 season.
There were sure to be early Madden 20 glitches with the new gameplay, but these are the sorts that drive gamers crazy. It makes many gamers appreciate what Madden 19 has to offer and those who have yet to place an order, think twice.
The good news is that EA developers constantly address game issues and tweak or update things to make them better. One has to wonder if EA will fix these Madden issues ahead of the wide scale release in the next several days.
