It’s Saturday and that means two more Madden 20 Legends are now part of the ongoing program this season. Each weekend brings us new legends of the gridiron for Ultimate Team, available in packs, challenges, or auctions. This Saturday brings us former Cincinnati Bengals star Anthony Munoz and Ted Hendricks of the Oakland Raiders. Here are more details about the new player items and how to get them for Ultimate Team.
Munoz, Hendricks join Madden 20 Legends
Just a day ago, Ultimate Team revealed a legendary player for MUT 10 promotion. Now we’ve got two more. Anthony Munoz played as a left tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals for his entire career. That included 184 starts and 185 total games with four touchdowns as a receiving option. Two of those came during the 1986 season. In his 1987 season, he had a 12-yard touchdown. Munoz also racked up 11 Pro Bowl selections and was a nine-time All-Pro player. He’s now a Pro Football Hall of Fame member based on his career.
That definitely qualifies him for Madden 20 Legends, and he now has a new 90 overall card with Power Up potential. The 6-foot-6 left tackle’s key attributes include 90 Pass Block, 87 Strength, and 87 Awareness. He also has 88s across the board for Run Block, Pass Block, and the Finesse attributes making for a great card to add to your lineup.
Joining Munoz in the Madden 20 Legends this weekend is Ted Hendricks of the Oakland Raiders. The 6-foot-7 left outside linebacker also brings a 90 OVR with Madden Power Up on his card. Amongst the key attributes here, are his 89 Play Recognition, 88 Block Shedding, and 87 Tackle numbers.
Hendricks aka “The Mad Stork” spent the first part of his career with Baltimore from 1969 through 1973, then joined Green Bay for a season. In 1975, he became a member of the Raiders for the rest of his career. He ended up with two touchdowns, one of those on a defensive interception for the Raiders, and the other a fumble recovery TD for Baltimore. The eight-time Pro Bowler, four-time All-Pro, and four-time Super Bowl champ is also in the NFL’s Hall of Fame.
How to get the new player cards in MUT mode
Gamers will need to grind on missions to earn 90 OVR Anthony Munoz or Ted Hendricks Madden 20 Legends. To do so, you’ll need to collect five different cards for each player to complete a set. There are 82, 83, 84, 86, and 88 Legends cards to complete the set for each player. Once those are complete, the 90 OVR card arrives for your Ultimate Team.
To get those cards, gamers need to head to the Madden Packs store and buy Legends Packs. A single Legends Fantasy Pack is 120,000 Coins or 1,500 Points. There are also options for fantasy bundles but are only available for Points. The other option to get the necessary cards is to buy the individual cards at the Auction Browser on the game.
There are also Legends challenges in Madden Ultimate Team involving Munoz and Hendricks. Completing each of them gets rewards including their Power Up player items. For either player, gamers need to simply win a game on any difficulty level. Other rewards include Coins, based on difficulty. A total of 3,100 Coins are available for each player and missions are repeatable.
Hendricks and Munoz are the latest players in the Madden 20 Legends program. Previously, we’ve seen gridiron greats including Willie Brown, Steve Young, Lawrence Taylor, and Jerry Rice. Stay tuned for more Legends next Saturday as Madden 20 season continues!
