Madden 20 Legends Items Released for Bobby Wagner, Demaryius Thomas
It’s a busy Saturday in terms of new content for Madden 20’s Ultimate Team. Not only did EA release a pair of M20 Tribute cards for Luke Kuechly and Antonio Gates, but they also dropped a trio of new Madden 20 Legends. Bobby Wagner is amongst them after appearing in the Madden 99 Club prior to the game’s launch. He’s joined by Demaryius Thomas and Jon Runyan with brand new items in Ultimate Team.
New Madden 20 Legends Boss items for Wagner, Thomas, and Runyan
Typically, the Madden 20 Legends include retired stars such as Joe Montana, Lawrence Taylor, and Rob Gronkowski. However, Ultimate Team blessed Seattle Seahawks fans or those in need of a strong defensive star with a new Bobby Wagner. His team recently fell to the Green Bay Packers in the NFL Playoffs, but Wagner now gets a nice upgrade for the Legends program.
Wagner, who was part of the original 99 Club when Madden 20 launched now has a 95 OVR card. It includes 95 Tackle, 95 Hit Power, 95 Play Recognition, and 88 Speed. The Power Up option also helps as well as other abilities and chemistry boosts.
Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas gets this weekend’s other 95 OVR card. It features 96 Spectacular Catch, 95 Catch in Traffic, 92 Catching, 91 Speed, and 90 Medium Route Run along with the Power Up options.
A limited-availability card arrived for Jon Runyan. The right tackle’s new card is a 96 OVR with 95 Strength, 95 Run Block Power, 95 Run Block, 94 Awareness, 93 Run Block Finesse, and 92 Pass Block. Runyan is also 6-foot-7 and has the Power Up options. His card is available in Legends packs for a limited-time until Monday, January 20 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
Where to get all of the new Legends items
All three of the new Madden 20 Legends’ Boss cards, as shown above, are available through the Legends packs in Ultimate Team Store. As mentioned, Runyan will only be there until Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time, while the other two players will remain available beyond that.
Thomas and Wagner each have five other lower-rated Legends cards. By collecting all five of a player’s cards, gamers can exchange it for the 95 OVR Boss Legends item. According to MUTHEAD, those five required cards are the 93, 91, 89, 88, and 87 OVR versions of the Legends.
In addition, there are new Ultimate Team challenges available for all three players. By defeating the challenges, gamers can earn that players’ Power Up item as well as Madden Coins and experience.
Of course, all of the items mentioned above are also available at the Auction Browser. That includes the limited availability Jon Runyan. Right now, prices for the Bobby Wagner item are reasonable for those with enough currency. Prices are in the range of 400,000 to 575,000 Coins on the PS4 version of the game.
