Madden 20 NFL Honors: Lamar Jackson, Christian McCaffrey, and Stephon Gilmore Cards Available in Ultimate Team
The player card many Madden Ultimate Team gamers have been waiting for is here. The new NFL Most Valuable Player Lamar Jackson now has another upgraded card thanks to Madden 20 NFL Honors. That should provide plenty of MUT rosters with a mobile quarterback also capable of throwing the ball. In addition, several other NFL Honors players are now in Ultimate Team including Christian McCaffrey.

While it’s not as high a rating as Patrick Mahomes’ Super Bowl MVP card, the new NFL MVP’s 98 overall item is still quite nice. The Ravens’ quarterback took the game to new levels on the ground, surpassing Michael Vick for most rushing yards in a single season. That also led to him becoming the QB with the highest speed ever in the Madden franchise.
Based on a successful season in which he led the Ravens to the postseason, Jackson was named NFL MVP. He now gets the Madden 20 NFL Honors card which seems to be the one a lot of gamers were waiting on. It features Power Up and key attributes such as 97 Throw Under Pressure, 97 Throw on the Run, 96 Play Action, and a nice 95 Speed. Basically, gamers who get this on their MUT roster will be well-equipped for battle.
Christian McCaffrey was another major powerhouse in terms of his offensive output this past season. He racked up 116 receptions and 1,005 yards receiving. In addition, the Carolina Panthers’ halfback had 1,387 rushing yards and a total of 19 touchdowns.
His Madden 20 NFL Honors card is due to McCaffrey being named the Fantasy Player of the Year. On the new MUT item, he’s got a new 97 OVR card with Power Up option. The limited-time card includes a 99 Agility, 95 Acceleration, 95 Elusiveness, and 93 Speed.
Stephen Gilmore card & where to find the new items
Yesterday, they revealed a new Honors card for the Offensive Player of the Year Michael Thomas. On Thursday, they released a Madden 20 NFL Honors for Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore. The New England Patriots’ cornerback was on Madden 99 Club watch this season based on his impressive work on the defensive side.
Gilmore’s new item is rated at 97 overall. Key attributes include his 99 Man COverage, 97 Press, 96 Play Recognition, 95 Agility, and 92 Speed. His limited-availability card also brings that Power Up option along with Patriots chemistry and options for abilities.
All three of the new Madden 20 Ultimate Team items are now available but for a limited time in packs. Based on the previous two releases (below), the new Jackson, McCaffrey, and Gilmore cards will be randomly available in various packs until Friday, February 8 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
They can also be found at the Auction House starting now and after the cards’ pack availability deadline hits, though. As of this report, we’ve seen only a few Lamar Jackson listings on PS4 and prices were over 3M Madden Coins. McCaffrey listings are topping one million coins for “Buy Now,” while Stephon Gilmore’s card is going for around two million coins or higher.
