Madden 20 NFL Honors Players: Michael Thomas, Nick Bosa Cards Available in Ultimate Team
The Madden 20 NFL Honors players continue to arrive as EA adds upgraded items for each of the award winners into Ultimate Team. As of Wednesday, February 5, the newest cards are for the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Rookie of the Year. That gives gamers a new card for the New Orleans Saints’ Michael Thomas and for the San Francisco 49ers’ Nick Bosa.
Thomas, Bosa get Madden 20 NFL Honors cards
This past season saw some impressive performances from the league’s newest offensive stars. That included the 2019 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson, the rushing yards leader Derrick Thomas, and wide receiver Michael Thomas. The Saints star set a new record for most receptions in a single season as he caught passes from Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Brees all season long.
Thomas finished his latest campaign with 149 receptions for 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns. He led the league in receptions, total yards, and average yards per game. All of that translated to him getting Offensive Player of the Year and now a Madden 20 NFL Honors card with a 97 overall rating. It also features a Power Up symbol along with 98 Catching, 97 Short Route Run, 97 Catch in Traffic, 96 Spectacular Catch, and 91 Speed.
Nick Bosa may be a rookie, but the San Francisco 49ers right end is already looking like a star. He was part of an impressive defense for the San Francisco 49ers this past season. Bosa finished with nine sacks, 32 solo tackles, a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and an interception for 46 yards. His team finished as runner-up to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl but based on the 49ers’ talented roster they look like they’ll be a threat for season to come.
Bosa’s new NFL Honors item (below) is a 96 OVR with Power Up as well as 94 Acceleration, 94 Finesse Moves, 92 Tackle, 90 Block Shedding, 90 Power Moves, and 89 Play Recognition.
Where to get the new NFL Honors items
The Madden 20 NFL Honors cards are found in the Ultimate Team Store randomly inside various packs or offers. These new cards are limited items and will be available until February 7 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
In addition, gamers can check out auctions to bid on or buy the cards for Michael Thomas or Nick Bosa. As of this report, Thomas’ new card is selling for between 634,000 and one million Madden Coins on PS4. The new Nick Bosa item has listings going for one million Coins or slightly more.
These two cards are the latest to join the new NFL Honors group. Just recently, limited Honors items became available in packs for Kyler Murray and Calais Campbell. Those officially end in terms of their availability in packs on Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. ET.
