Madden 20 Playoffs Predictions: Details on Ultimate Challenges and Rewards for Predicting NFL Winners
Along with two new editions of the popular Team of the Week, a Madden 20 Playoffs Predictions promotion launched on Tuesday, January 7. What this entails is a new set of challenges where gamers can put in their predictions for which teams will win in the AFC and NFC Divisional Round this weekend. Here are the full details on the new promotion and what sorts of rewards it brings.
How does Madden 20 Playoffs Predictions work?
After an exciting weekend of AFC and NFC Wild Card Round games, the NFL postseason is down to just eight teams. They’ll play this coming weekend in the Divisional Round with games on Saturday, January 11, and Sunday, January 12. In conjunction with the games, Ultimate Team has a new Madden 20 NFL Playoffs Predictions challenge going on.
To get to it, head into the Ultimate Team mode. On the “Missions” screen scroll down to choose “NFL Playoffs Predictions.” On the next screen, choose between the AFC and NFC Divisional Round games. Choose Game 1 or Game 2.
Now you can pick which team you think will win the game. To do so, you choose the AFC Divisional Round Game and then select the team you believe will win in the real NFL.
Next, you’ll need to defeat that team’s Challenge to earn at least One Star for that team’s Playoff Prediction Token. You can also earn two bonus Stars with 250 Madden Coins available for the two and three-Star levels.
What are the team’s Ultimate Challenges and rewards?
The Ultimate Challenges are Solo Challenges where you’ll use your Ultimate Team. You’ll be trying to defeat the team you think is going to lose their upcoming playoff game.
Below are each of the team’s prediction challenges. Remember, you can only achieve one of the two teams’ prediction tokens per Divisional Round game.
AFC Divisional Round Game 1:
- Titans Win: Win the Game (1 Star), Get 2+ Sacks (extra Star), Score 3+ Passing Touchdowns (extra Star)
- Ravens Win: Win the Game (1 Star), Rush for 100+ Yards (extra star), Score 3+ Touchdowns (extra Star)
NFC Divisional Round Game 1:
- Vikings Win: Win the Game (1 Star), Score 2+ rushing touchdowns (extra Star), Get 15+ tackles (extra Star)
- 49ers Win: Win the Game (1 Star), Score 4+ Touchdowns (extra Star), Gain 200+ yards (extra Star)
AFC Divisional Round Game 2:
- Texans Win: Win the Game (1 Star), Pass for 175+ yards (extra Star), Get 15+ tackles (extra Star)
- Chiefs Win: Win the Game (1 Star), Get 2+ sacks (extra Star), Score 20+ points (extra Star)
NFC Divisional Round Game 2:
- Seahawks Win: Win the Game (1 Star), (extra Star), (extra Star)
- Packers Win: Win the Game (1 Star), (extra Star), (extra Star)
All of the playoff tokens are quicksellable as of January 13. However, correct predictions will bring bonus Training for your Ultimate Team account if you’re holding the right team’s playoff prediction token.
The Madden 20 Playoffs Predictions promotion is only available until Saturday, January 11 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time. Therefore, it’s important to get in and make those picks ahead of this weekend’s Divisional Round games.
