It doesn’t get any bigger than the primetime matchup for Week 17. Sunday Night Football has the Seattle Seahawks (11-4) hosting the San Francisco 49ers (12-3). It’s a huge game based on the fact a Seahawks win coupled with a Packers loss would give Seattle a first-round bye in the playoffs. Meanwhile, San Francisco will clinch a bye throughout the NFC Playoffs and home-field advantage by simply winning the game.
The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Dallas Cowboys last weekend. Now they just need to beat the New York Giants on Sunday. If they don’t they need Dallas to lose to the Washington Redskins. The Cowboys are hoping for an Eagles loss along with a win in their game to secure the division and a playoff spot.
In the AFC, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders are still clinging to playoff hopes, but need quite a bit to go their way on Sunday. That will include winning their games.
