It’s a holiday break for many people and also the final week of the NFL’s regular-season games. Many people are anticipating the season finale for many teams, and plenty of gamers are still playing Madden 20. In recent posts from the EA game, they revealed the top Madden 20 NFL teams when it comes to passing and rushing.
Jackson, Ravens top rushing squad for Madden 20 NFL teams
We previously reported on Lamar Jackson’s rising popularity this season en route to his MVP performance and playoff appearance. The likely MVP has propelled the Baltimore Ravens to top seed status in the AFC and they look like a Super Bowl contender.
Meanwhile, that popularity has also translated into team use in the game. The Ravens are the most popular team overall, and also lead the top five when it comes to the top rushing Madden 20 NFL teams.
In the NFL this season, Jackson ranks sixth amongst all players (mostly running backs) with 1,206 rushing yards. His Ravens teammate Mark Ingram is No. 11, so it’s easy to see why the team’s at the top in the real football world.
For the Madden 20 list, Baltimore is above Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys, followed by Saquon Barkley’s Giants, Todd Gurley’s Rams, and Dalvin Cook’s Vikings.
In terms of the real NFL stats list for yards per game/total passing yards, the Ravens are also first, followed by San Francisco, Seattle, Indianapolis, and Buffalo.
Mahomes, Chiefs top passing team for Madden
Current Madden cover star Patrick Mahomes and his Chiefs team continue to look like contenders too. Kansas City ranks as No. 1 in Madden 20 NFL teams when it comes to passing. They take the top spot ahead of the Indianapolis Colts, which may have gamers scratching their heads a bit.
A special Madden 20 Andrew Luck tribute card arrived earlier this season just before the longtime Colts QB announced his retirement. That meant backup Jacoby Brissett would take over this season. He has 2,780 yards and 18 touchdowns thrown this season with a 61.6 percent completion rate.
Are gamers using Brissett in the Madden 20 NFL game, or do these stats reflect Colts-themed Ultimate teams with Andrew Luck as starting QB? The 7-8 Colts won’t be a part of the postseason as they’ve already been eliminated from the playoff picture.
Meanwhile, Mahomes ranks No. 7 right now in total passing yards with 3,857. The Buccaneers’ Jameis Winston is at the top with 4,908 total passing yards. He’s followed by Dak Prescott of the Cowboys (4,599 yards). The Falcons’ Matt Ryan ranks fifth overall with the Raiders’ Derek Carr at the No. 13 spot, per ESPN stats.
In terms of yards per game/total passing yards, the NFL ranks: Tampa Bay, Dallas, Atlanta, Kansas City, and Los Angeles Rams.
Many people believe most gamers are now running the stretch for offense using Eric Dickerson NFL 100 or 95 OVR Bo Jackson. Still, there may be a few out there throwing the pigskin down the field.
