Madden 20 Release Trailer Teases Gameplay Footage, Soundtrack Song Ahead of Early Access

Madden season is here! On Tuesday, July 23, EA Sports unveiled what appears to be their final trailer ahead of the game’s early access release. It includes more looks at the gameplay as well as what could be the game’s potential theme song. Here’s a look at the new Madden 20 release trailer including its new footage, music, and when the game is available.

Madden 20 release trailer features new music, gameplay

The new Madden 20 release trailer is brief in length, offering just a minute of footage. However, it also includes a song which could be the opening theme for the Madden 20 game. It’s “I’m a Star” by Jay Critch playing as highlights plays from various NFL stars and teams are on full display. Madden gave Critch a shout in a tweet as well as with a part in the trailer’s gameplay. That tweet also teases the upcoming soundtrack reveal.

As one might expect, the cover star Patrick Mahomes is the first athlete to pop up in the trailer with real-life and in-game footage. The Saint’s Alvin Kamara appears next as the game’s Superstar X-Factor feature is on display. Other stars shown include Saquon Barkley, Ezekiel Elliott, Odell Beckham Jr., and this year’s top draft pick, Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals.

Barkley has his name referenced in the song lyrics several times, giving the Giant’s back a well-deserved shout-out. There’s also a tease of the new QB1 Face of the Franchise aspect for the game which will include several college squads. The Oklahoma Sooners make an appearance and artist Jay Critch becomes a virtual member of the New York Giants. It’s an exciting look at what’s to come for the new edition of the football title.

Gamers can get the NFL video game even earlier

The new trailer arrives as the official Madden 20 release date is quickly approaching. The game is officially set to launch everywhere on August 2. However, gamers who place pre-orders now can get their copy three days earlier, on July 30. That gives an extra three days to get a jump on the competition and practice all the new plays or in-game strategies.

Pre-orders are available at a number of retailers including GameStop. The video game retailer is offering a special pre-order bonus which gives gamers three Dallas Cowboys legends as part of Ultimate Team.

There’s also the option to sign up for EA Access/Origin Premier to get to try out the game even earlier. During a recent EA Madden Twitch stream covering Madden 20 Ultimate Team, they indicated those customers who have the EA Access will get some special trials to “get their feet wet.”

The Madden 20 game will certainly be amongst the hottest titles in the next few months leading towards the holiday season. For now, it’s time to enjoy Madden season once again!
