The Madden 20 release date is still a bit under two months away. As football fans await the launch, there are more details, videos, and images arriving online to showcase what’s to come. Recently, some of the latest Madden 20 screenshots arrived online showing off several of the NFL’s biggest stars in their virtual forms. They include the new Cleveland Browns receiver Odell Beckham, defensive star Khalil Mack, and Cam Newton among several top quarterbacks.
Madden 20 screenshots: Beckham Jr. in Browns uniform, Newton vs. Mack
Following the recent EA Play reveal of Madden 20 gameplay footage, we are seeing some new player images from the game. Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will make his anticipated debut for the Cleveland Browns in the 2019 NFL season. Just before that, video game fans will be testing him out in the Madden game. He’s already being shown off in his new Browns jersey thanks to one of the Madden 20 screenshots (via @MaddenSchool).
OBJ was a deep-field threat for Eli Manning in New York and he’s likely to be the same for Baker Mayfield in Cleveland. By the way, it’s also been reported by WKYC 3 that the Browns will enter Madden 20 with an 87 team rating. That’s a huge boost over the 74 they received entering last year’s game. It’s also their best team rating since 2009 when they had an 88.
In another of the Madden 20 screenshots that surfaced online, gamers get a look at one of the best scrambling quarterbacks in the league today. The Panthers’ Cam Newton was popular amongst many Madden Ultimate Team enthusiasts. However, in this screenshot he’s shown against the menacing defense of the Chicago Bears’ Khalil Mack.
Mack was part of the Madden 19 game’s “99 Club” for overall ratings and probably will bring that to the new title. Cam Newton was an 88 at launch and fell a point over the course of the season. He’d finish as an 87 overall so it should be interesting to see where he starts in Madden 20.
Andrew Luck, Philip Rivers in new images
In addition to Cam Newton, two of his fellow NFL quarterbacks are also featured in brand new Madden 20 screenshots. One of those is the Indianapolis Colts’ Andrew Luck. He enjoyed a return to form in the 2018-19 NFL season, helping to lead the Colts back to playoff success.
Luck was the opposite of Newton. He entered the game lower, at an 86, and even dropped to an 85 through Week 8. By the end of the season, he’d finished as an 89 overall based on his success.
In one of the other Madden 20 screenshots featuring a star quarterback, the Los Angeles Chargers’ Phillip Rivers is on display. Rivers’ chargers fell to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots during the AFC Playoffs this past season. He ended Madden 19 rated as an impressive 93 overall, though. He initially started in the video game as an 87 OVR, so he made quite the leap.
We’ve yet to learn much about the Madden 20 player ratings, but we have to believe those will leak or are on the way. So far, the latest gameplay footage and Madden 20 screenshots are looking great. Soon, gamers will be testing things out with the beta version of the game, so there should be some early feedback ahead of the game’s release in less than two months.
