After Week 2 of the NFL schedule played out with some big performances and victories, the new Madden 20 Team of the Week 2 arrives. It features those players that the EA Madden crew feels are deserving of upgraded items. Several of those players in particular come with high-rated items as the New England Patriots’ Jamie Collins Sr. and Atlanta Falcons’ Julio Jones lead the way.

Jamie Collins Sr. & Julio Jones among TOTW 2 stars

Each week as players perform well in the NFL games, Madden will give them special TOTW cards in Ultimate Team. The best card for Madden 20 Team of the Week 2 goes to the New England Patriots’ Jamie Collins Sr, as he helped in the 43-0 win. Collins led a strong Patriots defense with five total tackles including a half of a sack, three solo tackles, and one quarterback hit. He also scored one of the Pats’ defensive touchdowns in the game. That brings a limited-time 91 OVR card for the linebacker, shown below.

Also heading up this week’s Madden 20 Team of the Week 2 is a deserving star on offense and another player on defense. For the offensive side of things, it’s Falcons receiver Julio Jones, a player who didn’t quite make this year’s 99 Club. However, Jones showed up in a Falcons’ hard-fought win over the Eagles. He finished with 106 yards and two touchdowns on just five receptions in the 24-20 victory.

Detroit came up with a close 13-10 win at home to defeat the Los Angeles Chargers. Slay racked up five solo tackles in the effort, two punts defended and a key interception. Here’s a look at Jones and Slay’s new 90 OVR cards for TOTW 2.

Other Madden 20 Team of the Week 2 players

A number of other players received new TOTW items in the high 80s. They are the Steelers’ Stephon Tuitt (86), Texans’ Whitney Mercilus (86), Buccaneers’ Chris Goodwin (85), and Packers’ Aaron Jones (84). Of the players below, the left end Tuitt is the only item which features a Power Up symbol for Ultimate Team rosters.

The Buffalo Bills picked up another win and Josh Allen helped lead the way. He’s got a new player item with a 79 OVR. Still, it may be tough for gamers to want Allen on their roster when they’ve got options like last week’s TOTW 1 rep, Lamar Jackson, or MUT10 “cheat code” Michael Vick.

The highest ranking card in the rest of the Team of the Week 2 group goes to DeMarcus Robinson. He’s the latest Chiefs wide receiver to play a part in another win. Last week, gamers saw a special Sammy Watkins TOTW card unveiled for Kansas City’s Week 1 win.

The latest TOTW 2 player items won’t be live in the Madden 20 game until some time after 3 p.m. Eastern Time. However, they’ll show up within packs or on the Auction Browser after then. In addition, there may be new Team of the Week Challenges available in Ultimate Team.
