In addition to a title update on September 12, EA revealed the return of the Madden Ultimate Kickoff Program. That brought four new Madden 20 Ultimate Kickoff Masters to MUT mode. They also unveiled a brand new part of the program with Seasonal Performers. These consist of one player per each NFL team with dynamic items that upgrade throughout the season.
Madden 20 Ultimate Kickoff Masters include Hopkins, Mack
There are four players representing the Madden 20 Ultimate Kickoff Masters. Two of those players are from this year’s four-member 99 Club. Houston Texans’ wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and Chicago Bears’ defensive star Khalil Mack head up the Kickoff Masters.
Joining them in the quartet for this program are Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman. Each of them has a 91 overall card, but it will take some work or spending to get these items.
To acquire one of these Madden 20 Ultimate Kickoff Masters, gamers need to assemble a set of collectible items for that particular player. There are 120 Ultimate Kickoff Collectibles required for that set. These are available through packs or by completing the challenges in Ultimate Team.
Who and what are the Seasonal Performers?
The Madden 20 Seasonal Performers are dynamic player items which will upgrade through the NFL season. There’s one specific player assigned to each of the 32 teams. As the player’s team gets wins in the NFL season, their Madden 20 Seasonal Performers item moves up by a point. All of these players begin at 84 OVR. Here’s a look at which players are in the program.

How to get the Seasonal Performer players
First, it’s important to note that players on teams that won in Week 1 of the NFL season are starting as 84 OVR, while those on losing squads are still 83 OVR players. To get a specific player requires a set of anywhere from 15 to 50 Ultimate Kickoff Collectibles. Each player’s requirements are different and will change as the weeks go forth.
Gamers can earn the Kickoff Collectibles through the completion of the various Challenges associated with the program. One star brings one Ultimate Kickoff Collectible, and then every seven stars earned after that is another Collectible. At 10 Stars, Madden 20 gives a Team Captain Upgrade Token to upgrade your Ultimate Team Captain.
It’s also possible to purchase a Seasonal Performer through the Store as mentioned in our earlier Madden 20 Title Update report. Get more of the latest details and news about Madden 20 here.
