Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 17 Brings Michael Vick, Simeon Rice Receive Upgraded Cards
On May 16, EA released the new Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 17 players into Ultimate Team. Leading the way is the former cover star and “cheat code” himself, Michael Vick. The quick, mobile quarterback gets another new 99 OVR card in the game. He’s joined by fellow legends Simeon Rice and Steve Largent. Here are all of the details about the latest cards, challenges, and more.
New Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 17 players
The new Michael Vick card in Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 17 brings a 99 overall rating but doesn’t outdo his Golden Ticket card. Still, Vick’s UL item has 99 Throw Power, 97 Throw on the Run, 95 Speed, 94 Throw Accuracy Deep, and 92 Throw Under Pressure. For comparison’s sake, Vick’s Golden Ticket included a 96 Speed, 98 Short Accuracy Throw, and 99 Throw Under Pressure.
Right end Simeon Rice also appears in the new group with a 99 overall card. Rice gets 98 Finesse Moves, 94 Play Recognition, 94 Acceleration, 92 Tackle, and 90 Strength amongst key attributes. The 6-foot-5 RE previously had a 95 overall Theme Diamonds item.
For this weekend’s limited-availability player, it’s former Seahawks wide receiver, Steve Largent. His 99 overall item includes 99 Catching and Medium Run Routes, 97 Short Run Route, 95 Spectacular Catch, 95 Acceleration, 95 Agility, and 94 Speed. Basically, Largent gives Seahawks theme teams another nice boost.
Largent’s LTD item is available randomly in packs until Monday, May 18, at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. He’s available at Madden Ultimate Team’s Auction Browser starting now and past that date. See below for more details on his cost.
New UL challenges, card costs
As with the previous releases, Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 17 features new Ultimate Challenges. One of those is to earn an Ultimate Legends Token. This goes into a set of 16 tokens towards a random, free Ultimate Legends Career Edition player.
That could mean getting Michael Vick, or one of the many other UL players. See all of the available Ultimate Legends at MUTHEAD’s database listing.
Two other Ultimate Challenges are available. These correspond to Michael Vick and Simeon Rice. Each has different requirements, along with winning, to earn Coins. Simply winning the game will get the Power Up for Vick or Rice.
As far as costs for the newest additions to Ultimate Legends, Vick is quite expensive but not as pricey as his Golden Ticket. The new UL Vick is going for over 800,000 Madden Coins as of this report. Steve Largent is going for more, with PS4 auction listings near or at one million coins, while Rice is going for 260,000 to 460,000 Coins.
